1st of all I would like to thank Daniel for the 2 heads.I havent put the one on my car yet, its getting cleaned up and ported b4 i put it in. The other acctually I gave to my buddy so i could swap it and is now mated to D15B7 making it my 1st mini me swap and is running STRONG.I dont know if any of u guy are looking to go this route but if u have any questions about the whole swap process please let me know. It can be a pain.

LTB- D16A6 block from a CRX or a SOHC ZC block. Would like to have block in good shape and runable.. i dont wanna replace the rings or pistons.. im here to run em hard and blow em up. IM looking to run a high compression NA motor. TY please feel to reply and ask me any questions u may have...

Im still running my D16z6 so im staying true to the norm so far.
I had someone compute the compression ratio for this swap and this is what i have..
D15b7 block
D16z6 head
+ D16z6 head gasket
= ABOUT 10.3:1
this will make the motors output about the same as a stock D16z6. Sounds bad but if u use a different block like that of a ZC or D16a6 you could get as high as 12:1.
From what i have seen the car just hauls compared to before.I cant tell how quick it is compared to another D16z6 till i get my Sol running.

The mini-me 1.5 is what the factory engine over in Japan comes as stock, about the same hp as the 1.6L from a 1.5L as they didn't have/make a non VTEC motor for the sol there. So I would believe they used the same cam for both engines. This is how this (the mini-me) came all about.

Yes this is correct. JDM SOHC D15Z1 is about the same as the D16z6
